What Should I Do Now? Self-Management on a Technical Project

I don't wait to be told what to do. Nor do I allow myself to be told what to do. Nor do I allow some mechanical procedure or ritual to dominate me. This is because I am a fully functional adult technical worker. It's up to me to decide what I do. Of course, I might choose to wait until I am told to act; I might choose to do what someone tells me to do; I might choose to fit myself into a ritual or procedure. I choose. These may be good choices, but how do I decide about these things? In this talk, I explain my own approach to self-management. See how it compares to yours.
